life is on the move.

Life has been quite busy for us lately, so please forgive my lack of posting. Elijah has been growing by leaps and bounds as well as experiencing many "firsts." We also were blessed to have dear houseguests. All of that and much more has kept me away from the computer, but I'll dedicate the next few posts to sharing it all with you.
Here are some snapshots of our precious time with our adopted Colorado family.
Rob playing with Elijah.
Elijah enjoying his time with lovely Teri.
A very happy family.
(Note the wet spots all over Greg's shirt. No, he isn't sweating profusely. Elijah is teething, so he chews on anything he can get to.)
The Cook family has so graciously invited us into their home many times and showered love on us over and over. So, it really was such an honor to have them come stay and to have the opportunity to maybe bless them as well. As I prepared for their stay and tackled many projects around the house, I kept asking the Lord to make them feel loved and blessed in our home. It turns out I received the greatest gift the morning they were leaving and Teri shared with me how much she appreciated everything and it really blessed her.
Of course, we don't do things because of the response we expect to get from others. And even if they didn't say anything, I'd wholeheartedly do it all again; however, I was most in awe of how God orchestrated it all. By prompting Teri to speak those words to me, it was God's way of saying, "Katie, I hear you. I'm pleased with you, my daughter. I love you."
Oh, He is so gracious and loving.
Praying today finds you delighting in the Lord and expectant for what He is going to do.
